OFFICIALS CODE OF CONDUCT
Officials are the front line of contact with competitors, members of the public, landowners and representatives of the governing bodies involved and are expected to be ambassadors for the event.

- Place Safety, Health, and warfare above all else.
- Observe the safety and welfare of children.
- Recognise the levels of risk and danger motorsport is known for.
- Be medically fit and able to carry out duties that you are responsible for.
- Operate within the rules of the sport.
- Abide by all Event rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Comply with all requirements of the Event.
- To uphold the maintenance and knowledge of an Officials License if you obtain one.
- Sign on with the Event via electronic use or paper base.
- Be professional in conduct, behaviour, and personal appearance.
- Act professional in the role you are undertaking.
- A positive role model to the community.
- Behave, act, or speak in a manner that doesn’t bring a negative appearance towards the Event.
- NO smoking in populated areas of controls or Spectator points.
- NO drinking alcohol OR consuming drugs while performing duties.
- Wearing the correct and appropriate uniform tasked for the job.
- Limit the usage of a mobile phone in terms of photo, video, and social media content while on Event.
- Be responsible and accountable for all actions taken.
- Any official or volunteer who brings the Event into disrepute may face disciplinary action.
- All officials and volunteers shall accept full responsibility to their assigned role.
- Be ethical, fair, impartial, and honest in all dealings with people and the Event.
- Be consistent and courteous in decision making.
- Declare and avoid any conflicts of interest.
- Respect others and be open to communicate.
- Treat people with respect.
- Be open to feedback that’ll assist your development as an Official.
- Do not participate in or tolerate violence, abuse, harassment, or intimidation towards others.
- Respect the levels of authority established to running the Event.
- No pets unless in use of an aide.
- Compete ALL required sign-on documents.
- Do not offer physical assistance to ANY competitor unless authorised to do so.
