With a proud history dating back to 1992, our reputation has been built on our ability to deliver high quality, professional tarmac rally events and driving experiences in unique and iconic Australian destinations. TARGA gives you closed roads, greater distance, higher speed limits, and in full competition, no speed limit at all!

We bring energy and excitement to everything we do, and consistently meet all required international safety standards. We show the utmost respect to our people, partners and customers and don’t compromise on this, no matter what.

TARGA deliver both competitive races and non-competitive touring events, sanctioned by Australia’s peak motor racing authority Motorsport Australia. TARGA includes tarmac rally events in Victoria’s High Country, Cairns in Far North Queensland and the longest and hardest tarmac rally in the world, in Tasmania.

If you have a passion for cars and love meeting new people, you’ll fit right into our TARGA family! We are always on the lookout for new faces to help us deliver exciting, high quality driving events across Australia. Here at TARGA, we offer both competitive tarmac rallies and non-competitive touring experiences to our entrants, sanctioned by Australia’s peak motor racing authority, Motorsport Australia. Varying from single day road closure officials through to team officials who are required for the entirety of the event, we can always find a role and a location to suit your needs.

As an official, you’ll get up close and personal to some of the finest sets of wheels in Australia. Whether you’re into luxury sports cars, coveted classic vehicles or muscle cars galore, you’ll be in awe of the exceptionally talented drivers, navigators and crew members within our TARGA collective. If that’s not tempting enough, TARGA has a reputation for bringing people together and forming lifelong friendships, especially amongst our highly valued volunteers.
